Hear Technologies highlighted in "Fall AES 2002" Feature,
EQ magazine
EQ, December 2002 issue, by Craig Anderton, Mitch Gallagher,
and Steve La Cerra - Anyone who said "there wasn't anything
new" wasn't looking hard enough at this year's AES convention
in Los Angeles. For example....
Hear Technologies. The Hear
Back personal monitoring system consists of a hub and up
to eight personal mixers, connected by CAT5 cables. Hubs can be
daisy-chained for additional mixers. The mixer provides local
control for up to 10 channels of audio, master volume, DSP limiter,
and under 1.5 ms total system latency... The Extreme
Extender ADAT In converts ADAT optical to Hearbus CAT5
cable, while the Extreme Extender ADAT Out
converts Hearbus CAT5 back to ADAT, thus extending the total possible
length to 500 ft. www.heartechnologies.com
