NSCA awardHear Back wins "Innovations in Technology Award" at the 2003 NSCA Expo

March 19, 2003 – Hear Back won the prestigious "Innovations in Technology Award" in the Category of Audio at the 2003 National Sound Contractors Association (NSCA) Expo on March 15, 2003 at the Dallas, Texas Convention Center.

New products from over 500 NSCA exhibitors were nominated across six categories: Audio, Control Systems, Convergence, Security/Fire/Life Safety, Video/Display Technology, and Website. Finalists in each category were chosen by a nominating committee consisting of expert system integrators, design consultants, and magazine editors. Products from each of the finalists were displayed in the Innovations in Technology Pavilion.

More than 10,000 low-voltage professionals including designers, integrators, and installers attending the Expo voted the “Hear Back” Personal Monitor Mixer System from Hear Technologies as the top innovation in the Audio category.

NSCA boothChuck Wilson, NSCA Executive Director, explained, “The Innovations in Technology Award is a way to recognize exhibitors who have really made an impact on the advancement of our industry.”

“We are very proud and honored to win this important award,” stated Dave Holland accepting on behalf of Hear Technologies. “It is especially gratifying to be singled out from among the many fine companies and products at the expo.”

The Hear Back system consists of a Hub and personal Mixers connected using standard CAT5 cables. Each Mixer provides up to ten audio channels to in-ear or floor monitors, allowing each singer and musician to control their own mix. Applications include live sound production, studios, and houses of worship.
