with the Talkback system at Cedar Creek Recording for several months

"The Talk Back Model 200 prevents us from
making mistakes. In a Multimedia environment with 5 different producers
recording voice-overs with 5 different work habits all using thesame
recording setup, there is plenty of opportunity for error. We use
a good microphone, a great soundcard, and a great mixer, so even
though none of us are sound engineers we get good results with our
recording setup. The only fly in the ointment that remains is one
of us making a mistake, and that's where the Talkback comes in.
With the Talk Back in the system there is literally no way we can
leave a mic open or talk over the voice talent. We have many diverse
technical elements to ride herd on, and removing the possibility
of an open mic error frees us to concentrate on the quality of the
